To manage shipping restrictions, in admin go to Sales > Dolphin - Shipping Restrictions > Manage Rules.

This includes name, shipping method, customer group, storeview and is_active.

Admin can see these basic information about the shipping restrictions directly from the grid.

Action that can be performed by the admin to manage shipping restrictions rule.

• Edit: Click on the edit link to edit the rule you want.
• Delete
  • Click on the Delete link to delete the rule you want.
  • You can delete multiple rules using mass action.
• Active: Select the rules which you want to activate from the mass action.
• Inactivate: Select the rules which you want to inactivate from the mass action.

To create a new rule go to Sales > Dolphin - Shipping Restrictions > Manage Rules.

Click on the Add New Rule from the top right corner to add new rule.

You can add general information for shipping restriction rules like as follows.

• Rule Name:
  • Add rule name for shipping restriction rule.
  • This field is required.
• Status: Add status for shipping restriction rule.
• Select Shipping Method:
  • Select shipping method to restrict.
  • Click on the checkbox below to select all shipping methods.
• Select Day:
  • Select the days on which you want to restrict the shipping methods
  • Click on the checkbox below to select all shipping methods.
• Apply Rule From:
  • Click on the calendar icon and select the date month and year.
  • The rule will start from that chosen date.
• Apply Rule To:
  • Click on the calendar icon and select the date month and year.
  • After that selected date the rule will finish applying.
• Customer Group:
  • Select single or multiple customer groups to apply rule for them.
  • Unselected customers won’t be applied to the rule.
• Store View:
  • Select the store view on which you want to apply the shipping restriction rule.
  • Unselected store view won’t restrict shipping methods.
• Apply Rule For:
  • You can choose where you want to apply the rules.
  • There are 3 options available:
  • Backend Only: Choose this option to apply rules only for backend.
  • Frontend Only: Choose this option to apply rules only for frontend.
  • All Orders: Choose this option to apply rules for both frontend and backend orders.

• Set the condition to apply the shipping restriction rules.
• Only products which satisfy these conditions will be applied to the rules.
• You can apply conditions with cart attributes, product attributes or combination of both.
• You can apply the rule depending on any of the above conditions.
• For Example, you can see in the screenshot above that rule is apply only if the subtotal is less than 100. Fixed shipping method will be restricted for the users having subtotal less than 100 for their order in the frontend. If the subtotal is more than 100 then this particular rule will not apply.
