User Guide - Product Stock Notification for Magento 2

General Configuration

Admin can configure product stock notification settings under the Store > Configuration > Dolphin > Product Stock Notification.

Notification Settings

Stock Notification: Set Yes to convert the guest to customer once they place an order as a guest.
Email Sender: Select email sender to send email to customers.
Notification Email Template: Select notification email template.
Subscription Email Template: Select subscription email template.
Thank You Message: Set thankyou message to display when customer subscribes to notify when product is back in stock.
Button Text: Set the text of the button.

Out of Stock Notification

When any product is out of stock and the customer wants to get notified when the product is back in stock.
Guest users and registered users both can subscribe to the product back-in-stock notification.
[NOTE: Registered user’s email will auto fill up if that customer is logged in.]
Customers can drop their mail id in the given field on the product page.

Manage Notifications

To see all existing subscriptions go to Dolphin - Product Stock Notification > Manage Subscriptions.
You can see import information like product name, email, subscribed at, notified at, Notified and action.
Product name column will redirect you to the product edit page in admin, you can manage stock of that particular product from that easily.
You can notify more than one data using mass action.
You can delete or send notification to multiple records from mass action.
And if you want to notify a single record then also you can do that with an action column.
After notifying, the notified value will automatically set Yes in the column.

Notify By Email

Customers will notify when they subscribed for the product and when the product is back in stock.
[NOTE: Predefined email templates for subscription and back in stock are available in this module.]

Subscription Email

Users will get a confirmation email when they subscribe to any product.
The email has a product link customer can open and go to the product page from that link also.

Back In Stock Email

When a product which is subscribed by the customer comes back into the stock the customer will get a notification email that xxxxxx product has arrived back in stock.
They will directly go to the product page from email.
